July 8, 2019
More than 800 candidates from 450 universities across the Ibero-American region were selected as finalists in this call for applications.

María Pía Amorín, a student in the Bachelor of Communication program with a concentration in Journalism, was selected by the selection committee of the 10th edition of the Botín Foundation’s Program for the Strengthening of the Civil Service in Latin America as one of the 32 Ibero-American university students who will participate this year.

In addition to receiving training at Georgetown University (Washington), the University of Salamanca, and the Botín Foundation (Spain), students will have the opportunity to join the Botín Foundation’s Latin American Public Servants Network, which aims to facilitate the exchange of information, opportunities, and projects among all program participants. The goal is to strengthen public institutions in the region and enhance the prestige of public service on our continent.

This edition of the program, which will take place from October 27 to December 3, 2019, will conclude on December 6 in Cartagena de Indias with a gathering of participants from all previous editions, to mark the project’s tenth anniversary and to recognize the importance of its alumni network.
