Young Ibero-American Leaders: 12th Edition, organized by the Carolina Foundation

The training program will take place in Spain and Belgium from June 15 to 28, 2014.

Applications are now being accepted for the 12th edition (2014) of the Carolina Foundation’s Young Ibero-American Leaders Program.

This is a two-week training program (June 15–28, 2014) held in Madrid and Santiago de Compostela (Spain) and Brussels (Germany) for outstanding graduates from Latin American, Portuguese, and Spanish universities.

The program covers all travel, accommodation, and living expenses. Students from Universidad ORT Uruguay have participated in previous rounds of the program, so graduates are encouraged to apply.

Each university may submit a maximum of two candidates from different fields of study by sending a letter to the director of the Carolina Foundation.

The application requirements are:

1) Have earned a bachelor’s degree (or higher, such as an engineering or architecture degree) after October 1, 2011, and be no older than 27 years of age.
2) Have an outstanding academic record (minimum GPA of 90%) and demonstrate strong interpersonal and leadership skills.

1) Registration form
2) Academic records and degree certificate.
3) Resume (must include extracurricular activities).
4) An essay in Spanish of no more than 400 words on the following topic:Keyskills of a young leader intoday’sglobalizedsociety.

The top 50 university graduates from the Ibero-American Community of Nations will be selected.
