“A space for consultation and entertainment; a source of inspiration and exchange featuring original content updated daily.” This is how El Observador’s Sunday supplement “Café y Negocios” summarized the features of the Ztuka website, created and directed by Paola Fossati, a graduate of the Interior Design program at Universidad ORT Uruguay. Fossati launched this portal to “showcase the incredible work of artists, personalities, and companies that are part of the development” of design and architecture, as she herself explained.

Ztuka was launched in August 2011 and currently has in the areas of communications, operations, content, web development, and maintenance.

“It was a very important step after several months of hard work trying to create a quality product,” said Fossati, adding that the project has been met with an “excellent” reception from the public. “We rely heavily on what our users suggest or tell us to keep evolving,” the designer told the supplement.

Although this venture is still in its early stages, its director is confident that it will “secure a prominent position with a strong presence” because “it has the potential to continue growing.”

To this end, Fossati emphasized the need to increase the volume of content and consistently incorporate innovations and advancements. In this way, they will be able to move beyond the project’s initial phases and become “a prestigious business.”

Fossati, 34, has been the director of Fossati & Asociados since June 2003, a company dedicated to providing design, planning, and construction services for both indoor and outdoor spaces.

She graduated in 2000 and is grateful for the education she received. “It was an incredible experience. It gave me so much, and even after I graduated, it continued to support me in whatever I needed. It provides vital support when you start working,” she said.
