ORT University took first place in the third edition of the University Sports Tournament

For the third consecutive year, ORT University won the University Sports Tournament organized by the University of Montevideo, which took place from May 4 to 6.
Teams competed in soccer, indoor soccer, handball, hockey, basketball, volleyball, tennis, and swimming. The handball, hockey, and volleyball teams were crowned champions. The tennis participants and the 50-meter butterfly swimmers took second place. The total score was 220 points. The University of Montevideo took second place with 190 points, and the Catholic University and the Young Men’s Christian Association University Institute tied for third place with 170 points.

Participants in the tournament included the Catholic University, the University of Montevideo, ORT University, the Law School and the School of Engineering of the University of the Republic, the Young Men’s Christian Association University Institute, the Higher Institute of Physical Education, the Military Academy, the Military Academy of Aeronautics, the Naval Academy, Monte VI University, Club Biguá, Los Pilares, Metro Montevideo, and Austral University (Argentina).
