The basketball team won the Division A championship of the University Sports League after defeating Trouville 85–74 in the third final. The game was played on December 11 at Club Tabaré.
The team consists of students and graduates Sergio Jaurena (captain), Alejandro Lebel, Guillermo Wilkins, Fernando Navarrete, Darwin Freiganes, Adrian Soto, Rodrigo Fernández, José Gelos, Mateo Caputti, Federico Rocha, Fernando Alvarez, Nicolas Riezler, Marcelo Lopez, and Alejandro Ordiera.
The following teams participated in the tournament: Crandon U., CEI, MUCAM, Elbio Fernández, Veronés U., Paysandú, Olimar, Bohemios, Malvín, Trouville, and ORT University.
