August 15, 2016
Dr. Denise Vaillant, academic secretary of the Institute of Education, along with Dr. Mariano Palamidessi, executive director of the National Institute for Educational Assessment (INEEd), will discuss the book *La Innovación pendiente: Reflexiones (y provocaciones) sobre Educación, Tecnología y Conocimiento* (Pending Innovation: Reflections (and Provocations) on Education, Technology, and Knowledge), authored by Dr. Cristóbal Cobo, a thesis advisor for the Doctorate in Education program. The book presentation will take place on August 18, 2016, at the Spanish Cultural Center.
The book proposes "rethinking education from a new perspective that suggests true innovation lies in exploring new ways to value and recognize knowledge, both inside and outside the classroom."

“The author’s contribution lies in analyzing the challenges posed by technology in education and the redefinition of the concepts of ‘knowledge’ and ‘learning’ in a society undergoing profound transformation.”
