A visiting professor delivered a lecture titled "The Evolution of the European Union and the Changes Introduced by the Treaty of Lisbon"

Prof. Dr. Marcos Farias Ferreira, a professor at the Higher Institute of Social and Political Sciences of the Technical University of Lisbon, served as a visiting professor from April 28 to May 6 for the course "Analysis of the International Situation" in the Bachelor's Program in International Studies, where he presented on the topic "The European Union's Foreign Policy and Its Neighborhoods." Additionally, on May 6, he delivered a lecture at the School of Management and Social Sciences titled “The Evolution of the European Union and the Changes Introduced by the Treaty of Lisbon.”

Dr. Farias Ferreira holds a bachelor’s degree in International Relations from the Higher Institute of Social and Political Sciences (ISCSP) at the Technical University of Lisbon (UTL). He holds a master’s degree in European Studies from the same institution and a master’s degree in International Relations Theory from the University of Aberystwyth. He holds a Ph.D. in Social Sciences/International Relations from ISCSP-UTL, where he teaches various undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral courses (Contemporary Political Thought, European Integration, Introduction to International Relations, the Post-Soviet Space, Advanced Methodologies for International Relations, and Foreign Policy of the Great Powers).
