Conference: "Changes to the Tax System: Source-Based or Worldwide Income?"

On Thursday, June 24, the Faculty of Administration and Social Sciences hosted a lecture titled “Changes to the Tax System: Source-Based or Worldwide Income?” presented by Certified Public Accountants Eduardo Jadra and Enrique Ermoglio. The lecture was part of the activities of the Master’s Program in Accounting and Taxation.

Eduardo Jadra, CPA, is a partner at the firm CPA/Ferrere. He is a member of the Uruguayan Institute of Tax Studies. He teaches taxation in the Public Accounting program and in the Taxation Diploma program at ORT University.

Mr. Ermoglio is Director of the Tax and Legal Advisory Department at Deloitte. Among other responsibilities, he heads the International Taxation practice. He teaches Tax Auditing in the Public Accounting program and International Taxation and Tax Auditing in the Tax Diploma program. He is a member of the Board of Directors of the Uruguayan Institute of Tax Studies.
