The coordinator gave a presentation at the "2nd IFRS Symposium and Ibero-American Congress on Accounting Research" in Colombia

Dr. Norma Pontet, Academic Coordinator of Accounting and Taxation at the School of Administration and Social Sciences, served as a speaker at the "2nd IFRS Symposium and Ibero-American Congress on Accounting Research," which took place in Cali on March 1 and 2. Dr. Pontet was a member of the international panel, where she delivered the lecture "Uruguay and Its More Than 20 Years of Applying International Accounting Standards." The event was organized by Icesi University in Colombia.

The other participating speakers were: Jorge Tua Pereda (Autonomous University of Madrid), Leandro Cañivano (Autonomous University of Madrid), Shym Sunder (Yale University), and Issam M. I. Buhaisi (University of Salamanca).

During her stay in Colombia, Dr. Pontet taught the course "Management Accounting" as part of the MBA program at Icesi University.
