The speaker, a visiting professor in the Bachelor's Program in Animation and Video Games, shared his extensive experience. The lecture was organized by the faculty's Academic Coordination Office for Animation and Video Games.
Mr. Lence holds a BA in English Literature from the University of Michigan and studied in programme Character Animation programme CalArts.
He worked as a storyboard artist at Walt Disney, Pixar, DreamWorks, Warner Bros., and Hanna-Barbera, among others.
His credits include films such as Beauty and the Beast, Toy Story, A Bug's Life, and Shrek. He was co-director of Pixar's Toy Story (1995), the first film animated entirely by computer.
