A teacher was honored in the “Poetry and Prose Poems” category at the 2014 National Literature Award

Melisa Machado, an instructor of Oral and Written Expression and Creative Writing in the Bachelor of Communication program, received an honorable mention in the “Works in Verse and Prose Poems” category at the 2014 National Literature Award in November 2014 for her poetry collection *Cantos al fauno*.

These awards are organized annually by the National Directorate of Culture of the Ministry of Education and Culture.
