Professor Hugo Millán is designing the costumes for *Le Corsaire*, which will premiere in October with the Hong Kong Ballet

In April 2017, the Hong Kong Ballet hired designer and costume designer Prof. Hugo Millán—who teaches the courses "Fashion Design 1" and "Fashion Design 2" in the Bachelor of Fashion Design program—to oversee the costume design for *Le Corsaire*, a production that premiered in Uruguay in 2014 and will be staged by the Hong Kong Ballet in October 2017.

In addition, Sodre will be responsible for producing the set design, created by Prof. Millán, which includes hand-painting the 16 backdrops that will be shipped to Hong Kong in the coming weeks.
