Visiting Professor at the Center for Australian Studies

In June 2017, the university’s Center for Australian Studies welcomed Dr. Tihomir Ancev, an associate professor in the Department of Agricultural and Resource Economics at the University of Sydney’s School of Economics. On June 13, Dr. Ancev delivered a lecture titled “Security bond for coal seam gas development: an economic experimental study” at the Faculty of Administration and Social Sciences.

He also attended meetings at the National Directorate of Aquatic Resources (DINARA) and the National Directorate of the Environment (DINAMA), both part of the Ministry of Housing, Land Use Planning, and the Environment. He also visited the Las Brujas experimental station of the National Institute of Agricultural Research (INIA) and the Office of Agricultural Planning and Policy of the Ministry of Livestock, Agriculture, and Fisheries.

Prof. Ancev holds a Ph.D. in Agricultural Economics from Oklahoma State University, United States.
