Victoria Álvarez, a professor of Geomatics in the School of Engineering, served on the organizing committee for the “4th Latin American and Caribbean Conference on gvSIG (Geographic Information System) – Growing as a Community,” which took place from September 24 to 28 in Montevideo.
The workshop was designed for both novice and advanced users of gvSIG extensions, web publishing, and software development.
