This is a global competition held annually that provides students with mentoring, intensive training in financial analysis, and professional ethics. The competition involves valuing a real, publicly traded company using the information participants gather through their research.
Each student will be assessed on their analytical, evaluation, report-writing, and presentation skills, thereby gaining real-world experience while taking on the role of research analysts.
The event, organized by the CFA Institute through the CFA Society Argentina, began on August 19, 2021, with local competitions. The winners will then move on to the regional rounds and, finally, to the global competition, which will take place in December in a virtual format.
