Students from the workshop “Drawing History”, coordinated by Architect Víctor García Góngora, a professor of Drawing 1 at the Faculty of Architecture of Universidad ORT Uruguay in Universidad ORT Uruguay, are exhibiting their work at the Museum of Art History.
The exhibition brings together notes, drawings, and sketches created during the 2025 academic year, in a project that links art history with the practice of drawing. According to the Torres García Museum, the workshop involves tracing, copying, and reinterpreting works from various periods to create an artist’s sketchbook.

In the words of García Góngora, the proposal “stems from the conviction that, in order to gain a deep understanding of a manual discipline rooted in drawing—such as the visual arts and architecture—it seems natural to approach it from that very perspective.”
The exhibition will be open to the public through May 30 at the MuHAr.
