E-Scientia is an interactive exhibition designed to promote an understanding of electrical engineering and computer science among high school students, with the aim of encouraging them to pursue college majors in these fields.

The experience centers on the Franklin 125 Y module, a spacecraft model located in the LATU Science Space.

The team consisting of Viviana Berrogorry and Mariana Franco, students in the Bachelor’s program in Audiovisual Communication, Nicolás Berrogorry, a 12th-grade student at Liceo No. 1 in the department of Treinta y Tres, and Ignacio Lanzani, an engineering student at the University of the Republic, won first place in the “Pro E-Scientia I” competition organized by the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) Uruguay.

Meanwhile, the team consisting of María Areán, Stephanie García, and Hansi Ruting, students in the Bachelor’s program in Multimedia Design, took third place.

The contest aimed to create educational audiovisual content about engineering experiences.
