An expert in Jewish education will present the book *Judaism Through a Feminist Lens*

The author holds a master's degree in Contemporary Judaism and a bachelor's degree in Hebrew Literature and Philosophy from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem.

The Center for Jewish Studies, in collaboration with the Department of Jewish Studies at Universidad ORT Uruguay a book presentation for *Judaísmo en femenino*, led by the author, Ethel Barylka. The event will take place on Tuesday, August 28, 2018, at 7:00 p.m. at the Pocitos campus (2633 España Blvd.).

With a master’s degree in Contemporary Judaism and a bachelor’s degree in Hebrew Literature and Philosophy from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Barylka is an expert in Jewish education and a specialist in education and gender. She is Argentine and lives in Israel.

Prof. Susana Poch, a professor of Modern Literature at the University of Buenos Aires and a graduate of the Teacher Training Seminar at the Shalom Aleijem School in Buenos Aires, will also participate as a guest panelist.

In this rigorous yet engaging work—a pioneering contribution to Jewish literature in Spanish—the author explores the world of Jewish tradition by compiling a selection of her articles written over the past decade, in which she offers a critical and contemporary perspective guided by a deep love for her people.
