On Thursday, November 9, 2017, the presentation of the journal *InMediaciones de la Comunicación* (Volume 12) took place in the Auditorium of theSchool of Communication and Design . *City and Communication: Imaginaries, Subjectivities, and Materializations*.
The event featured a lecture titled “Cultural Studies and Urban Imaginaries” by Dr. Paula Vera, the volume’s guest editor. Vera holds a Ph.D. in Social and Human Sciences from the National University of Quilmes and a Bachelor’s degree in Social Communication from the National University of Rosario.
Dr. Vera is the Argentine representative of the Ibero-American Network for Research on Social Imaginaries and Representations (RIIR) and a member of its scientific committee (Argentina).
