“What do you want to be when you grow up?” was the title of the talk given byPaula Lago, a graduate of theBachelor’s program in Communication, who has been asked that question more than once.
At the"Yo Hago Comunicación " event on Thursday, August 10, 2017, she shared that she initially wanted to be a teacher, like her mother. She later became interested in baking. At age 12 or 13, she imagined herself as a wedding planner. As she got older, she decided she wanted to focus on event planning in general and become a public relations professional. “I wanted to have a packed schedule, to know who to turn to and why,” she recalls.
He currently manages UNICEF's digital channels. He realized that all those years, "I didn't know what I wanted to do because I couldn't have known."
He believes that the Digital Contenttrack offers students the opportunity to edit images and videos, write, and start their own projects. “They can forge their own path and develop any idea that comes to mind. If they have that drive, they should make the most of it. And when someone asks them, ‘What do you want to be when you grow up?’ they should say, ‘I don’t know.’ That’s the best answer.”
