Rosenzweig: one of the 12 honorees by World ORT

One of the 2020 Beatrice Wand-Polak Educators Awards was presented to a professor from the School of Communication and Design.

Rubén Rosenzweig received one of the 12 2020 Beatrice Wand-Polak Educators Awards, presented to individuals recognized for their contributions to education and the promotion of the principles upon which World ORT was founded.

Rosenzweig holds a bachelor's degree in Animation and Video Games and teaches in the same program at Universidad ORT Uruguay. He has a master's degree in Educational Technology: e-Learning and Knowledge Management from Rovira i Virgili University (Spain). He is animator freelance animator designer. He worked as animator at Scientific Animations Without Borders (SAWBO) in Michigan (United States).

The award was presented in December by the president of Universidad ORT Uruguay, Prof. Charlotte de Grünberg. Also present at the awards ceremony were Mr. Oscar Aguirre, Academic Secretary of the School of Design; Mr. Eduardo Hipogrosso, Dean of the Faculty of Communication and Design; Dr. Jorge Grünberg, rector Universidad ORT Uruguay; and Mr. Daniel Oliveri, General Administrator of the university.
