Jan. 25, 2012From January 27 to 29, 2012, the “Global Game Jam Uruguay” took place at the Telecommunications Tower, with support from ANTEL and the School of Communication and Design at Universidad ORT Uruguay. The event virtually brings together thousands of video game creators from around the world through 250 venues in 46 countries, with Uruguay participating for the first time. On January 27, Carolina Cosse, President of ANTEL; Eduardo Hipogrosso, Dean of the School of Communication and Design; and Gonzalo Frasca, Professor of Video Games at the school, held a press conference in the Interactive Room of the Telecommunications Tower.
