• Graduates won first prize in the Startup Competition

  The company Kidbox, founded by Alan Kind, a graduate of the Web Design program, and Martín Larre, a graduate of the Marketing Analyst program, won first prize in the Startup Competition.
• Conference: "New Human Resources Policies to Attract and Retain Young Talent"

  On Wednesday, November 30, 2011, the lecture "New Human Resources Policies to Attract and Retain Young Talent" was held in the Auditorium of the School of Management and Social Sciences. The lecture was presented by Carlos Stella, Director of Human Resources for Latin America at Tata Consultancy Services. The event was organized by the School’s Graduate School.
• Teachers serve on the jury for the "2011 OPI Awards"

  For the second consecutive year, Martín Abud, Graphic Designer Gabriel Pasarisa, and Martín Sommaruga, faculty members of the School of Communication and Design, served on the jury for the Best News Website category at the "2011 OPI Awards." The awards were presented by the Organización de la Prensa del Interior on November 12, 2011, in the city of Trinidad, as part of the 54th Annual General Meeting and the 18th Extraordinary Meeting of the Organización de la Prensa del Interior.
• Seminar on "Theories of Teaching"

  On Friday, October 28, and Friday, November 11, 2011, the seminar "Theories of Teaching" was held, led by Gabriela Augustowsky, who holds a Master’s degree in Education from the University of Buenos Aires and is a visiting professor at the Institute of Education.
• Online Seminar: "Assessing Learning"

  From Monday, November 7, to Friday, November 25, 2011, the online seminar "Assessing Learning" was held, led by Mirtha Ricobaldi, M.A., a professor at the Institute of Education and the Artigas Teachers’ Institute. It was organized by the Center for Continuing Education in Higher Education (CAES) and was aimed at university faculty members. 
• Lecture by Interior Designer Alfred Fellinger

  On Monday, November 7, 2011, the School of Architecture hosted a lecture by Argentine interior designer Alfred Fellinger, a multiple winner of the Casa Foa Award, an annual exhibition that brings together Argentina’s leading figures in interior design.
• Graduada is a finalist in the "Dress Me For The Finale" contest organized by Hugo Boss and the McLaren Formula 1 team

  Rosario Bianchi, a graduate of the Bachelor of Fashion Design program, was one of the 15 finalists in the international "Dress Me For The Finale" contest organized to celebrate the 30-year partnership between "Hugo Boss" and the McLaren Formula 1 team. The contestants designed a unique set of overalls for drivers Lewis Hamilton and Jenson Button of the Vodafone McLaren Mercedes team. The design presented by Ms. Bianchi was worn by the drivers during qualifying for the penultimate round of the 2011 Formula 1 World Championship, which took place on November 13 at the Yas Marina Circuit in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.

  On Friday, November 25, 2011, the seminar "Innovation and Educational Change" began, led by Dr. Carina Lion, a professor of Educational Sciences and Distance Education in the School of Philosophy and Letters at the University of Buenos Aires.

  On Fridays, October 7 and 28, and November 4, 2011, the seminar "Learning in Higher Education" was held, led by Daniel Germán, Director of the Pando Teacher Training Institute and professor at the Institute of Education.
