• Visit by students from Babson College, United States

  A group of 20 students from Babson College (Wellesley, Massachusetts) visited the School of Business and Social Sciences on March 18 and 19, 2013, accompanied by Prof. Joe Ricciardi, Associate Professor in the Department of Economics at Babson College, and Michelle McCormack, Study Abroad Advisor. The visit took place as part of the “Uruguay-Argentina Offshore Course” program. During their stay, they participated in various academic and cultural activities.
• Student's collection won first prize at "Lúmina 7"

  The "Lady Olympia" collection by Matilde Pacheco, a student in the Bachelor of Fashion Design program, won first prize in the "Lúmina 7" contest organized by Punta Carretas Shopping. The final fashion show and the selection of winners took place on March 19, 2013, at the shopping center. The prize consists of a visit to the Polimoda Institute in Florence and ISIA Design Florence, as well as $1,000 awarded by Banco Itaú.
