After two grueling tournaments (the Apertura and the Clausura) and a year of high-stakes matches, the university team defeated CUBA following a 3–3 tie in regulation time, winning the penalty shootout 5–4. The match was played on November 20 at Plaza 11 in Cerro.

The Final
ORT started the game on the back foot, falling behind to the point where the score was 3–0 in favor of CUBA. Before the end of the first half, ORT scored a goal, bringing the halftime score to 3–1.
The second half began with another goal by ORT, and midway through the match, the university team tied the score.
After the ORT goalkeeper saved a penalty, and ORT’s players converted all of their attempts, the penalty shootout ended with a score of 5–4, crowning the ORT team as two-time champions of this competition.
Germán Fernández and Cristhian Saavedra (goalkeeper) were named the best players of the match.

The team consisted of Damián Baptista, Luis Pucciano, Francisco Bouza, Germán Fernández, Diego Rocca, Ignacio Morella, Matías Brascesco, Cristhian Saavedra, Rodrigo González, Agustín Costa, Ezequiel Arrambide, Bruno Ramos, Federico Bello, and Martín Delbono. During this competitive season, Sebastián Matta and Diego Rodríguez also joined the team. Coach Martín Sánchez served as the team’s head coach.
