Feb. 19, 2013“Teaching is a natural cognitive ability in humans,” stated Dr. Sidney Strauss, Professor Emeritus at Tel Aviv University, during the conference “Teaching as a Natural Cognitive Ability: Implications for Ways to Think About Educational Research on Teaching.” His research in this area of education is based on a multidisciplinary approach. “One-year-old children don’t even speak yet, but they already exhibit some traits of teaching. Of course, they haven’t fully developed it, but they have some fundamental cognitive components that are beginning to emerge,” he added. The event, organized by the Institute of Education, took place on February 28, 2013, at ORT Centro.
