  On June 3, 2004, the Faculty of Business and Social Sciences hosted a lecture titled "Dollarization of the Economy: Where Do We Stand Today?" presented by Dr. Gerardo Licandro.

  On Thursday, June 17, ORT’s School of Engineering signed an agreement with the Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA).

  On June 3, the lecture “Maimonides: Genius, Daring, and Controversial” took place in the auditorium of the Pocitos Campus as part of the 2004 Year of Maimonides celebration.

  Gastón Mousqués, academic coordinator of Software Engineering and director of the Software Factory Laboratory at the School of Engineering, taught a course at the National University of La Pampa.

  Dr. Edith Litwin, academic coordinator of the Education Sciences program at the ORT Institute of Education, led a workshop on distance education in Argentina.
