Nov. 30, 2016La Casa Uruguaya, designed by students and faculty from all of the university’s schools, was recognized on November 30, 2016, in the “Buildings” category of the National Energy Efficiency Award, organized annually by the Ministry of Industry, Energy, and Mining. The purpose of this award is to recognize projects nationwide that make efficient use of energy.

Nov. 24, 2016The two winning teams from the 16th ORT Programming Contest, held in September 2016 as part of the Faculty of Engineering’s Student Day, participated in the Latin American Regional Round of the ACM (Association for Computing Machinery) International Programming Contest. The event took place on November 12, 2016, at the University of Buenos Aires. They ranked in the top 6.4% and 12.4% among a total of 1,973 participating teams.
