It was authored by Dr. Juan Gabriel Brida, Professor of Quantitative Methods for Finance at the School of Management and Social Sciences and Associate Professor of Economics at the Free University of Bolzano (Italy), Daniel Bukstein, and Emiliano Tealde, graduates of the Master’s program in Economics.

Nov. 29, 2013On November 26, 2013, the panel discussion “Women and ICTs” took place at ORT Centro. The event was held as part of “Future Day,” an initiative by La Diaria that has been bringing together individuals and institutions for the past three years to reflect on the future. This year, the focus was on education and work. In this panel, organized by the CIE (Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship) and the Graduate Coordination Office of the School of Engineering, the speakers analyzed myths, truths, and stereotypes about women and ICTs.

Nov. 29, 2013The “AVA” light fixture by Diego Chiola, a student in the Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Design program, was selected in November 2013 for the second stage of “Salão Design Movelsul Brasil 2014,” a Latin American product design competition, in the “Student Division – Lighting Category.” Meanwhile, the “FRANS” bench by Andrés Espina and Nicolás Noblia, students in the bachelor’s program, was chosen in the “Student Division – Outdoor Furniture Category.”
