May 21, 2009The “Oruga” project by Irma Fraile, a student in the Bachelor of Industrial Design program, received an Honorable Mention in the Students – Furniture / New Projects category at the “Salão Design Casa Brasil 2009.” In addition, DI Maximiliano Izzi, the professor of Industrial Design 3 - Production Feasibility (the course in which the student developed her proposal), was invited to participate in the awards ceremony, where he will receive the Salão Design trophy as the supervising professor. The project consists of a folding wooden frame for one- and two-seater sofa beds.
