• Students make up the winning team of the Sebrae Challenge

  Selene Duarte, a public accounting student, and Rubén Duarte, a systems engineering student, along with Joana Robert Melo, a public accounting student at the University of the Republic, make up the Prometheus Music Corporation team, the national winner of the Sebrae Challenge.

Carlos Sanguinetti, Academic Coordinator of Biotechnology, co-authored with Dr. Guillermo Rodríguez, Dr. Isabel Fernández, Dr. Enrique Barrios, Dr. Rafael Alonso, Dr. Noemí Maedo, and Dr. Juan Vasallo, won second prize in the 2009 Revista Médica del Uruguay – Roemmers Laboratory “Dr. Luis Folle” Award.
