• Student's collection won first prize at "Lúmina 7"

  The "Lady Olympia" collection by Matilde Pacheco, a student in the Bachelor of Fashion Design program, won first prize in the "Lúmina 7" contest organized by Punta Carretas Shopping. The final fashion show and the selection of winners took place on March 19, 2013, at the shopping center. The prize consists of a visit to the Polimoda Institute in Florence and ISIA Design Florence, as well as $1,000 awarded by Banco Itaú.

  The video game Frogs Orbs, created by Ballpit Monster—the studio where Prof. Rodrigo Fernández, a faculty member in the Bachelor’s Program in Animation and Video Games, works—was downloaded more than 85,000 times in just three days after being featured in the Apple Store in March 2013.
