• First student admitted to the Master's in Financial Management program at Florida International University

  Mauricio Minarrieta, a student in the Master’s in Financial Management program, is the first student to be accepted to spend a semester at Florida International University (FIU) under the agreement signed between FIU and Universidad ORT Uruguay. He will begin his studies in August 2017.
• La Casa Uruguaya first prize in a competition organized by the Chilean Wood Corporation

  La Casa Uruguaya, a project designed and built by students, graduates, and faculty members of Universidad ORT Uruguay, won first place on August 10, 2017, in the “El Público Elige. Arquitectura en Madera” competition with 3,740 votes, as part of Wood Week 2017 in Chile.
