• Developing ideas for a sustainable Montevideo

  This edition of Ghierra Intendente brings together more than 50 artistic projects that aim to “reflect on, propose, and ask questions about the city of Montevideo.” Four of these projects were created and are being carried out by students from the School of Design, specifically those in the Contemporary Design Trends course, under the guidance of professor Fabián Barros.

  Students Agustina Victorica, Francisco Fernández, and Micaela Benchoam received an honorable mention in an international architecture competition.
• A soap ring ready to print

  The #SafeToPlay contest was won by Uruguayan designer Sebastián Granotich with his soap ring, which can be 3D-printed and allows people to wash their hands anytime, anywhere.
