• The IDB highlights ORT as a pioneer in the video game industry
  Sept. 24, 2019
  A report by the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), titled "Video Games Are Not Just a Game," highlighted Universidad ORT Uruguay a pioneer in the region for offering a Bachelor's Degree in Animation and Video Games. It also recognized professors Gonzalo Frasca and Sofía Battegazzore.

  The three-dimensional object created by Nicolás Armand Ugon, a student in the Industrial Design program, was selected by the Uruguayan Forestry Producers Association to be reproduced and presented to its members in celebration of the association’s 60th anniversary.
