Rosenzweig: awarded with one of 12 distinctions by World ORT

One of the Beatrice Wand-Polak Educators Award 2020 was awarded to a faculty member from the School of Communication & Design.

Rubén Rosenzweig received one of the 12 Beatrice Wand-Polak Educators Awards 2020 given to outstanding individuals for their contribution to education and the promotion of the principles on which World ORT was founded.

Rosenzweig graduated from the Bachelor in Animation and Videogames and is a faculty member of the same degree at Universidad ORT Uruguay. He has a Master's degree in Educational Technology: e-Learning and Knowledge Management, from the Rovira i Virgili University (Spain). He is a freelance animator and designer. He worked as a 3D animator at Scientific Animations Without Borders (SAWBO), Michigan (United States).

The recognition was delivered in December, by the General Director of Universidad ORT Uruguay, Prof. Charlotte de Grünberg, in the presence of Oscar Aguirre, Assistant Dean of the School of Design, Eduardo Hipogrosso, Dean of the School of Communication and Design, Dr. Jorge Grünberg, Rector of Universidad ORT Uruguay and Daniel Oliveri, Chief Financial Officer.
