During the event, which took place in Room D13 at 6:30 p.m., technical presentations were given on the main risks in applications, and best market practices were discussed.
The event was attended by Roberto Ambrosoni, Ph.D., professor of Cybersecurity and coordinator of the Specialization Diploma in Cybersecurity, who welcomed the attendees and emphasized the importance of holding such events to continue raising awareness about the importance of cybersecurity.
The goal of the event is to promote awareness of application security issues and to educate and raise awareness among organizations, companies, universities, students, developers, and architects.
The OWASP chapter has been active in Uruguay since 2010.
