According to QS, “the graduate employment rate is the ratio of full-time employed graduates within 12 months of graduation to unemployed graduates from the same cohort who are actively seeking employment during the same period.”
The 2022 QS Graduate Employability Rankingevaluated 786 universities worldwide, also analyzing the institutions’ reputation among their employees, the strength of their connections with employers, their ties to top graduates, and how attractive recent graduates are to employers.
Universidad ORT Uruguay the University of the Republic are the only two Uruguayan higher education institutions included in the ranking, which is led globally by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in the United States.
